Since the start of this school year, our team has experienced several struggles so far. we have gone through about three ideas so far, where we end up having to go back to the drawing board. However, we have picked a final idea and things are finally getting into motion.
With our final idea, we referred back to our freshman year project where we placed VAWTs into porch spindles. However, with year's project we decided to take a turbine and place it in subsea levels located across seawalls along the coast. So far, we have reached out to several potential mentors, have started a prelab for our experiment, and have started preparing for our trip to IBM next Tuesday.
