Our group is making great strides, as we have found not one, but two mentors to help us with our project. We also are preparing a booth set up, along with booth giveaways and a booth schedule.
The name of our first mentor is Jim Hartman. He has a degree in business but he had extensive training in the Navy, that is the equivalent of an engineering technologies degree. He worked in the semiconductor industry for almost 20 years and was an Electronics Technician Chief on a Nuclear Submarine. A submarine makes its own electrical energy and as a member of the crew, Mr. Hartman had to learn everything about every system on board. We have recently reached out to Mr. Hartman through email for a potential Facetime or to come and visit during one of our class times.
The name of our second mentor is Edward Naylor who has been working with turbines and we figured he would be a very helpful resource to us and our project. We are currently working on coming into contact with him.
